Isle of Man Meats appoints new Retail Production Manager - IOM Meats

Isle of Man Meats has appointed Sean Greham as Retail Production Manager.

He has 40 years’ total experience in the meat industry (39 years of that time has been in roles at managerial level) and 24 years here on the Island, including fresh meat and fresh food managerial roles at Shoprite where he worked for over 19 years. Sean joined Isle of Man Meats in 2017 and has moved from a sales role to take up his new position.

As Retail Production Manager his main responsibilities will include managing supplies of top quality Manx meat to major retailers such as Tesco, Co-op, and Shoprite. With the popularity of Isle of Man Meats’ mince products increasing rapidly, a key focus for Sean in the months ahead will be to ensure that supplies meet the needs of retailers both on and off-Island. He will also be representing the business at agricultural shows and other key food and farming sector events here on the Island.

Sean commented: “I’m very pleased to have been given this exciting role to help grow the business. I’m looking forward to bringing some fresh ideas to the table to enable the business to identity and capitalize on opportunities to increase sales in both local and UK markets.”

Isle of Man Meats’ Plant Director, Phil Parsons, congratulated Sean on his promotion and commented: “This is a new role which the Board has sanctioned as part of a strategy to build on the retail successes we have already achieved. Sean is ideally suited to the role because of his experience and knowledge of Isle of Man Meats, and the markets we are targeting for growth.”
