Isle of Man Meats staff gain animal welfare training certificates - IOM Meats

Nine staff at Isle of Man Meats have gained certificates after completing animal welfare courses with leading industry training organizations.

Colin Pilkington, Compliance Manager at Isle of Man Meats, said: “We are committed to the highest standards of animal welfare, and the latest certificates achieved by the team are proof of that commitment. This training is also essential to retain our status as a Red Tractor approved meat processor.”

The Red Tractor logo is a simple way for consumers to recognise food and drink that has been produced to high quality standards across the whole length of the food chain — from farm to pack.

The animal welfare training certificates — awarded following assessments by two leading industry providers, Excellence Global Limited and FDQ Limited — were presented to Phil Parsons, Kirree Kermode, Caesar Kermode, Graham Jones, Joseph Rochford, Aaron Dickinson, Jamie Cachia, Kenneth Taisia, and Colin Pilkington.
