Two products from Isle of Man Meats have been judged ‘Highly Commended’ at the UK meat sector’s biggest and most prestigious industry awards.
The company entered a choice selection of the finest Manx lamb, beef, and pork products into the Meat Management Industry Awards this year, receiving plaudits in the Best Pork/Pigmeat Product category for their Belly Pork Joint.
The second accolade came in the Best Lamb Product category for their Boned & Rolled Saddle of Lamb.
Making an impact in the same category, the uniquely local and iconic Short Leg of Manx Loaghtan received a coveted finalist’s position.
Kirree Kermode, procurement officer at Isle of Man Meats, said:
